A documentary about bike messengers in Brussels. Apparently, the most congested city in Europe with only
4% cycling traffic.
Thank God only London comes 3rd, we get Bronze.

and neither apply in this case… take shit sketch, a hand built frame by metal master Ted James, get Ted to work his
magic altering, welding racks and supports into the frame, hand that over to 14 Bike Co, get them to fit and finish it with hub
speed gears and brakes and hit list of parts like only they know how, then dip the hole thing in the flattest, matt black
paint… BOOM… the perfect cross traffic beater.

I don’t know about you but I had no problem watching 9 whole minutes of this, if anything it makes me
appreciate the effort these dudes put into their edits (plus there’s a fair amount of schadenfreude
going on). An awesome watch from Wolfdrawn
So you may have already heard about this, but I’ll put it up anyway. John Griffin, pictured above, is the big bad boss
of Addison Lee – a cab company that most UK cyclists will be familiar with. He has recently told all of his minions to
ignore the law and drive in the bus lanes. This is illegal, but he’s told his minions he’ll pay the fines should they incur
them. It also makes the road significantly more dangerous for cyclists, and we don’t like that.
If you want to have a look at some interesting stuff related to this, check the TIMES and GUARDIAN articles, they’re
good, also check out THIS column written by Griffin (what a numpty)
So what can you do? Well, there’s an organised Addison Lee ‘Die-In’ protest kinda do outside the Addison Lee offices
today at 6pm (35-37 William Road, NW1 3ER) which you should get deaded-up for (‘Make-up and fake blood welcome!’)
Info on this can be found at the FACEBOOK event page.
If you hold an account with Addison Lee, it’d be cool if you could cancel it and use another service. Also, there’s a
PETITION you can sign to revoke their licences. Anything else? Well as always there’s an informative and useful
thread on the London FGSS FORUM with good links and junk, and then there’s an ‘Official Boycott Addison Lee’
wordpress which is worth checking out. That’s about it I think. He’s a right dick ain’t he?

Yooooo I’ve been fully sessioning my bright blue Fixedgearlondon Jacket in this shitty London weather
recently, so essential. Anyway Fixedgearlondon are producing another batch of the fully waterproof
signature jackets for those who didn’t get one first time around. Only in black this time for that
stealthily staying dry look…
All Seams and zippers are sealed along with the back of the emroidery. FGL signiture camera pocket inside on
the right and a long pocket for magazines/shanks on the left. Also there are Under arm zippers for ventilation
and 2 waist pockets. This jacket is fully adjustable to make it a perfect fit.If you would like to pre order a jacket, please send us an email expressing your interest.
As soon as we receive enough orders, the jackets will be produced.
Haha pretty rad, I saw this over at Prolly’s blog and thought it was too good not to post
‘Launching w/c 23rd April 2012, DrEd offers a rapid 2 hour courier delivery service for emergency
contraception within London, costing only £20 – so about £5 less than it would cost to walk into
a pharmacy and order the morning after pill over the counter’
Kinda cool? I think so. anyway if you want to check out DrEd.com and get medicated
I totally flopped on watching this until now, it’s sick. Video from the ZLOG BLOG Future Tense April event in
Seattle. It’s good to see a well attended gathering with a few different events to have fun with, good to see
Tyler jumping around too, always. We should have another big London event soon
