As I looked over to Ted’s stand there was a lot of people standing around him, as he talks about his amazing bike build. We had a great time in Bristol and saw more than last year, thank you to every one that came down to talk to us.

The 14R TRACK and LOW PRO for this year come with the refreshed Royce dropouts and are made from Reynolds 853 double butted aero tubing.

For Bespoked Bristol we chose to paint Mikey’s Low-Pro in the same Fluro Yellow, which our team rider Oscar Khan used to have on his ESB. The down tube decals are part of a sheet of decals that each customer gets when they order a 14R. Being able to customise the final details of your custom made 14R is something that is very important to us!

The Jet Black 14R Track has been built up using the new Royce High Flange double fixed black anodised track hubs, which for the first time ever are available in anodised jet black. We are also proud to be stocking the new Royce Track Cranks that are also available in jet black. The crank arms are available in various sizes; in a 144bcd as well as the tri lobe bottom BB’s and chainrings in sizes 46T – 50T (larger sizes are available on special order).
As always, the 14R’s are fillet brazed using Reynolds 853, accept a 27.2mm seatpost, an English threaded Bottom Bracket, an 1 1/8th integrated head tube and have the all new numbered Royce 14R stainless 316 steel drop outs.
ALL for £795.00, with two carbon fork options available. Please

Monday evening Boiler Room held an with Red Stripe-make session 007 and 14 Bike Co, at a secret location in East London. Everything that night was broadcasted live, meaning the whole event was filmed live and available for anyone to watch online. There were four DJs playing live back to back; XXXY, Steve Braiden, Midland and Paul Woolford. Andy Ellis built up five special Red Stripe bikes (one for each of the DJ’s) on the stage behind the DJ set and we also had Ted James doing welding. And did I mention the free beer? What a great night!

A packed room as I arrived.

Andy on stage as the crowd watched intently

Yeah, I think they like the music or Andy just finished building one of the bikes.

Here is one of the finished DJ bikes.

Ted looking cool with them shades on.
We would like to thank Red Stripe and Boiler room for letting us take in this project and making it happen. Remember to drink responsibly and don’t drink and ride!

We were recently at Eton College together with Illustrated People for a school exhibit. It was great to have some of our best looking bikes on show in such a nice environment. We even brought our polo bike along to show the horse polo playing boys from Eton. Check out some of the shots we took on the night below.

John and Andy talking bikes with the Eton boys

Our newest 14 Grand Prix road bike was popular on the night

As was Duncan’s classic lotus f1 road bike

The 14 Polo Bike was also looking great
If you would like to know more about any of these bikes, or what else we can offer, please talk to us at sales@14bikeco.com

Impetus Momenta took place last night at south bank center, with a decent amount of people showing up.
It started with Andy talking about the history of fixed bike and how it all began, with Ty from the foot down telling a funny story on how he got into fixed bike and why he does his blog. Ted came out talking about his love for building bikes and the technical parts of it. Jonathan showed us some photos that he took from the last four years around the fixed gear scene and how it all grew. Patrick closed off the talk by showing us two films that he has done this year. One of them was the full length feature of Asmawa and the other one was his new video, Galibier.

Here are some pictures from Bespoked Bristol , which happened in March this year. People came from all over the country to see the best hand made bicycles from around the world. There were many big brands at Bespoked, such as Cinelli, Brother, Feather cycle, Tokyo Fixed Gear and many others including ourselves and Royce UK. Our stand featured the beautiful Hanbury travel bike with Gator mesh, and was also the first time we introduced many of you to our 14R.
We hope to see you there again next year!
