today’s trick roundup
Wednesday, March 30th, 2011first up we have a pretty dope short edit from our very own Tony Fast – Curb Jibs. Nice
tripod dude haha, when you must, improvise! Tony’s getting smoother every time I see
him ride, always coming out with the original styles. awesome
next up another Sadio rider, and whereas I’m not sure whether his name is Best Bodin or
not I’m pretty suspicious of him being another sick BMXer riding fixed, like haven’t seen
anything from this dude then bam, he’s better than 90% of the rest of us, oh and the
whole not riding in the straps thing, that’s kinda bum. Sick radical riding though, don’t
get me wrong this guy is really good and the edit is put together really nice, but…
finally, some actual BMX, Dakota Roche riding radical for Cult with the homies. wow
BODABODANYC – Winter Scraps
Wednesday, March 30th, 2011Looks like this past winter was pretty gnarly in NYC, every time I see footage from the
snow it looks like some post-civilisation ice age type business, I can’t imagine riding in
that every day! Pretty cool stuff from BodaBoda NYC
Pedal it Dont Push it 3 event edit
Wednesday, March 30th, 2011Looks like a pretty sick event put on recently by Breakbrake17, some pretty crazy riding
going down from a bunch of the top riders in Asia, feeble nose manny was kinda nuts
and big quarter airs!
Monkey Likes Shiny Gravity Bike
Wednesday, March 30th, 2011Yeah so this has been around a little bit but I thought this gravity bike from Monkey Likes Shiny was too awesome
not to post, especially with the sweet photos from over at Trackosaurusrex, check it out.

Retired Riders

Colnago’s Bicycle Museum
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before and although I’d like to find out some more about the
track side of Colnago’s operations I enjoyed this little insight into some of Colnago’s history
through looking at various models and their wider significance in terms of advancement of
bicycle technologies. It’s not new by any means but it’s still interesting
John Prolly Watson’s FGFS edit debut
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011I enjoyed this edit from Prolly, some solid (and smooth) riding and nicely put together, I dig it John!
Livery Freestyle stem
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011Livery Design Gruppe have come out with this pretty sick new stem – 50mm, 0 rise, 25.4 clamp, CNC machined
from a single piece of 6061-T6 Aluminium, black or gun metal anodized, and I think it looks sick! Although I’m not
sure about the red it’s pretty cool that Jakob Santos has got a signature model. Available HERE

Devin Tolman: A Day in the Life
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011I saw this over at Lockedcog and thought it was pretty good, like there are some tricks in there but nothing crazy
and there’s plenty of chilled footage as well as some hill bombing stuff, pretty well rounded! Road gap was cool
Michael Chacon in Paris/Portugal
Tuesday, March 29th, 2011some sick riding from the man Michael Chacon both in/around the Lisbon West Jam comp
and the recent Trick Trick Boom comp held in Paris. Solid riding throughout, as we’ve come
to expect from him. By the way, the results for the Trick Trick Boom comp were as follows:
1st Ed Laforte
2nd Michael Chacon
3st Simon Andraca
(more at Geometrick)

14bikeco is on the move!
Monday, March 28th, 2011Yes, 14bikeco is moving out of the Truman Brewery! For the moment we are going to be concentrating on wholesale
and online with a new premises coming soon. The decision to move came about through the fact that there are a load
of projects that we’ve got going on that we really want to put our full attention to, without having the day-to-day
demands of running a bike shop slowing things down.
From the beginning our focus was to make beautiful handbuilt English bicycles, utilizing the skills honed in the history
of English manufacturing to create bespoke bicycles to last a lifetime, and although it’s been amazing to have the shop
up for so long it’s time for us to move on and concentrate on developing more of our own products and designs.
14bikeco wants to say a huge thank you to all of our shop customers and of course everyone at the Truman brewery
for all the help and support they’ve given us over the last 2 years!
And for all enquiries, contact us at info@14bikeco
Palace Skateboards – Bangbanging at Ground Zero
Monday, March 28th, 2011Although I’m not convinced at the name (if it’s a reference, I don’t get it) I really like this new
edit from Palace Skateboards. Some really sick skating and nicely put together, London boys
hitting up New York and killing it… definitely check it out
today’s trick roundup
Monday, March 28th, 2011First up here’s a pretty cool video I enjoyed from some of the OC kids. Whereas I can’t
really forgive those tags on the vimeo page (hahaha) there is a fair amount of good riding
in there, looks like they’re having fun too. Gotta say my favourite guy to watch was the
guy on the track frame, very smooth and keeping it 2009. Cool edit
next up here are two awesome photos from the P.D.P3 event by “GAzZ”, getting very
tucked on a toboggan and then just chilling on the ramps. Nicely composed shots!

finally check out this ‘cOoKies ~@TOUGH day’ edit from Fixed Love. Lots of slams and I
reckon the dude could benefit from a helmet but whatever, some nice riding and I’m
looking forward to the full edit
